AkzoNobel Powder Coating
The raw steel has a 20-micron galvanised zinc coating applied to eliminate rust. The product is then finished with a 110-micron polyester UV stable powder coating, designed for the UK’s harsh outdoor climate.
The coating is applied electrostatically and is then cured under extreme heat to allow it to flow and form a “skin”. This skin creates a hard wearing scratch resistant flexible finish that is tougher than conventional paint.

Core Edge features a dual lock system that ensures each section connects securely for a rigid, continuous finish. Whether you're creating straight borders or flowing curves, this smart design delivers both strength and flexibility with a clean, professional look.
A Full 5 Linear Metres
Each pack of Core Edge contains five 1075mm strips of edging. This provides a full five metres of coverage once connected.
‘Diamond Design’ Ground Spikes.
Core Edge features a unique fold along the centre of each ground spike, forming a ‘diamond’ structure. This shape provides maximum strength and durability, even in tough terrain, preventing the ground spikes from curling under pressure.
Size Options
65mm - Choosing a 65mm lawn edging offers a sleek and discrete profile, blending seamlessly into the landscape. It is perfect for creating subtle borders and defining pathways with a more understated look.
100m - Provides a more pronounced and noticeable border, adding a strong and defined visual impact to the outdoor spaces whilst also being effective at separating two surfaces e.g grass and gravel.

Tools required

Installation Instructions
- Use a lawn edging knife or shovel to prepare the edges of your lawn
- Set up a string line at the desired finish height for the top of the edging and install your first length
- Bring your next piece and connect the two together by using the first connection at the top of each piece of edging
- Complete the Dual Lock Mechanism by bending back the folding tabs with your pliers
- Using your block of wood and lump hammer, tap the edging into the ground to your desired height
- Repeat this process along your run until complete
- If you need to create curves or corners, flex the edging to achieve the desired shape
Safety: We recommend the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) when installing Core Edge, including good strong safety boots/shoes to protect the feet, strong gloves to protect the hands, and ear plugs or defenders if using loud cutting equipment.

Delivery & Returns
Any applicable delivery charges will be calculated at checkout. Certain products qualify for next working day delivery if ordered before 1pm, excluding bank holidays and the festive season. Please be aware that deliveries to remote areas, including the Highlands and Cornwall, may take longer. Additional charges apply for non-mainland locations — please contact the office for further details, or you can learn more about our delivery options here.
A signature is required upon delivery. If no one is available, you can leave a signed note for the driver requesting the parcel be left in a secure location without a signature. However, please be aware that this is done at your own risk and is subject to the driver's discretion.
For large orders, please be aware that if you require a smaller 7.5 tonne lorry, the maximum weight for pallets is 750kg - otherwise the standard pallet size limit of 1000kg applies.
Please note:
- For deliveries that require a pallet, the pallet/packaging itself is the customer's responsibility and will not be uplifted or taken upon delivery.
- Deliveries are kerb side only.
- It is possible a pallet order can be delivered on a vehicle up to the size of a 26T lorry.
