Description
Absolute Premier Spring, Summer & Autumn Lawn Fertiliser 12-6-6 is a balanced granular lawn feed for established lawns that need improved growth, colour and recovery during the main growing season.
It is particularly useful for helping lawns recover after winter, supporting thin or worn grass and maintaining healthy growth through spring, summer and autumn. Nitrogen encourages fresh leaf growth, while phosphate and potassium support root development, plant strength and resilience.
Each homogeneous granule contains the same nutrient analysis, helping to distribute the feed evenly across the lawn and provide a more consistent response.
Apply at 25–35g/m². One 20kg bag covers approximately 571–800m², which is roughly equivalent to the marked playing area of three full-size doubles tennis courts at the lower application rate. The typical nutrient response lasts approximately four to six weeks, depending on growing conditions.

Apply during spring and summer when the grass is actively growing and there is adequate moisture in the soil.
It is particularly useful for:
- The first main lawn feed after winter;
- Supporting recovery following scarification or aeration;
- Maintaining growth during late spring;
- Feeding lawns following regular mowing and use;
- Supporting summer growth when moisture is available.
How to use
- Apply evenly avoiding overlapping or missing areas using a suitably calibrated spreader at a rate of 25-35 g/m²
- If no rain falls during the 24 hours after application, irrigate the treated area thoroughly
- Do not apply in frosty weather or in severely hot or dry conditions
- Warning: Products containing iron can stain wood, stone and other hard surfaces
For best results:
- Apply when light or moderate rain is expected;
- Irrigate after application if rainfall is not forecast;
- Avoid frozen or waterlogged ground;
- Do not apply during severely hot or dry conditions;
- Delay feeding if the lawn is dormant or drought-stressed;
- Wait until consistent grass growth has begun before the first spring application.
During prolonged summer drought, watering and reducing stress should take priority over fertilising.
Application Rate
Apply at: 25–35g/m²
Choose the rate according to the condition of the lawn and the level of response required.
- Use approximately 25g/m² for routine feeding of an established lawn.
- Use up to 35g/m² where a stronger response is required and growing conditions are suitable.
- Do not exceed the recommended application rate.
Measure the lawn before application so that the required quantity can be calculated accurately.
How Much Do I Need?
| Lawn area | At 25g/m² | At 35g/m² |
|---|---|---|
| 100m² | 2.5kg | 3.5kg |
| 200m² | 5kg | 7kg |
| 300m² | 7.5kg | 10.5kg |
| 500m² | 12.5kg | 17.5kg |
One 20kg bag covers approximately:
- 800m² at 25g/m²
- 667m² at 30g/m²
- 571m² at 35g/m²
Measure the lawn before application so that the required quantity can be calculated accurately.
How to apply
- Measure the lawn and calculate the quantity required.
- Apply evenly using a suitably calibrated fertiliser spreader.
- Where practical, divide the fertiliser into two equal quantities.
- Spread the first half in one direction and the second half at right angles to improve coverage.
- Avoid overlapping passes, missed strips and concentrated deposits.
- Sweep granules from paving, patios, paths and other hard surfaces.
- Water the lawn thoroughly if suitable rain does not fall within 24 hours.
Avoid stopping or turning while the spreader is dispensing fertiliser, as this can leave concentrated patches and cause uneven growth.
For healthy growth, use sharp mower blades and avoid removing more than one-third of the grass height in a single cut.
After Application
- Keep children and pets away from the lawn during application.
- Allow the fertiliser to be watered in and wait until the granules are no longer visible before returning the area to normal use.
- Do not mow immediately after application. Allow the product to be watered into the soil first.
- Resume mowing once the grass is dry and actively growing.
