Gal-Gone is a selective weed killer spray which helps control and manage perennial weeds in grassland, and paddocks. Containing 200g/l fluroxypyr, it is ideal for targeting a wide range of annual and perennial weeds in both newly sown and established grassland. In particular, Gal-Gone provides excellent control of chickweed alongside weeds with a tap root such as dandelion and dock.
Gal-Gone can be tank mixed with herbicides containing other active substances to increase the number of weed species that are targeted. Recommended tank mixes include:
- Gal-Gone at 1.25l/ha + Lupo at 2.5l/ha
- Gal-Gone at 1.0l/ha + Thrust at 2.5l/ha
Application Information
Where to apply
This herbicide is ideal for use on newly sown and established grassland such as horse and pony paddocks for the control of annual and perennial broad-leaved weeds.
When to apply
Gal-Gone can be applied at any time but for best results spraying should be undertaken when the soil is moist, and the weeds are actively growing but foliage is dry. Weeds are ideally treated earlier in the season, during May. Please note that it is not recommended to use the product when plants are stressed such as in drought conditions as Gal-Gone will be less effective.
