Manufactured in Belgium by Viano, RHS endorsed MO Bacter Organic Fertiliser for lawns is a slow release organo-mineral fertiliser from Viano of Belgium which releases its nutrients evenly over a twelve week period. It feeds the lawn whilst transforming thatch and dead moss into feed, a convenient "no rake" option.
Furthermore, users will not have to scarify their grass after applying Viano Mo Bacter and if the product is spread beyond the lawn, it will not burn plants. Also, unlike normal fertiliser, Mo Bacter Organic Fertiliser will not stain stonework, patios or paths.
For best results, it is recommended to apply Mo Bacter Organic Lawn Fertiliser in the spring, or early summer. To enhance winter turf health, apply the product in late summer or early autumn.
Viano MO Bacter Organic Fertiliser for lawns is at its most effective when the SOIL temperature is 10°C or more.
Ingredients: Nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium, in a 5-5-20 (+3% MgO) analysis, plus bacteria (bacillus spp.). A native bacterial species found naturally in soils; but when added to fertiliser, consumes plant material like thatch and dead moss.

Delivery & Returns
Any applicable delivery charges will be calculated at checkout. Certain products qualify for next working day delivery if ordered before 1pm, excluding bank holidays and the festive season. Please be aware that deliveries to remote areas, including the Highlands and Cornwall, may take longer. Additional charges apply for non-mainland locations — please contact the office for further details, or you can learn more about our delivery options here.
A signature is required upon delivery. If no one is available, you can leave a signed note for the driver requesting the parcel be left in a secure location without a signature. However, please be aware that this is done at your own risk and is subject to the driver's discretion.
For large orders, please be aware that if you require a smaller 7.5 tonne lorry, the maximum weight for pallets is 750kg - otherwise the standard pallet size limit of 1000kg applies.
Please note:
- For deliveries that require a pallet, the pallet/packaging itself is the customer's responsibility and will not be uplifted or taken upon delivery.
- Deliveries are kerb side only.
- It is possible a pallet order can be delivered on a vehicle up to the size of a 26T lorry.

- Good morning, as an Organic product Mo Bacter is considered much safer than most, however would need to be watered in first as best practice. Hope that helps! Kind regards, SW

- Good afternoon, yes you can apply Mo Bacter fertiliser when wet, providing the area is not waterlogged or boggy, ideal conditions would be after a morning dew or light rainfall or prior to a heavy downpour to ensure the granule is broken down and dissipated into the grass plant and soil.
