Relva is a residual herbicide which is ideal for application through the winter months. Uptake is through plant roots or by the emerging shoot, giving excellent pre-emergence control to stop weeds coming back in the spring.

Where to apply Relva Granules

Relva Granules is ideal for use in forest nurseries, and Christmas tree nurseries, as well as around plantings in borders and other amenity landscapes.

When to apply Relva Granules

Relva Granules are most effective when the soil is cool and moist after application. The recommended application timing is between October and January.

How to apply Relva Granules

Apply through a motorised knapsack applicator with a granule adaptor, a pepper pot applicator or any other specialised rotary spreader ensuring even distributor of the granules.

Additional Information

  • Can be used in forest nurseries either pre-planting or post planting provided that the plants have been allowed to establish for at least 4 weeks prior to application
  • Can be used around ornamental trees and shrubs which have been in their final planting position for at least one season
  • Can be used amongst Christmas trees that have been in their final position for at least one season
  • Cool moist conditions are required after application
  • Efficacy may be reduced on organic soils, or in the presence of excessive organic debris
  • Application over snow or heavily frozen ground is not recommended
  • An interval of between 1-40 weeks after application before some crops can be planted

Delivery & Returns

Any applicable delivery charges will be calculated at checkout. Certain products qualify for next working day delivery if ordered before 1pm, excluding bank holidays and the festive season. Please be aware that deliveries to remote areas, including the Highlands and Cornwall, may take longer. A signature is required upon delivery. If no one is available, you can leave a signed note for the driver requesting the parcel be left in a secure location without a signature. However, please be aware that this is done at your own risk and is subject to the driver's discretion.

For large orders, please be aware that if you require a smaller 7.5 tonne lorry, the maximum weight for pallets is 750kg - otherwise the standard pallet size limit of 1000kg applies.

Please note:

  • For deliveries that require a pallet, the pallet/packaging itself is the customer's responsibility and will not be uplifted or taken upon delivery.
  • Deliveries are kerb side only.
  • It is possible a pallet order can be delivered on a vehicle up to the size of a 26T lorry.
