Description
Isomex is a high-quality potassium acetate liquid de-icer, formulated with corrosion inhibitors. Working to a staggering -50°c and with a hold over of up to 48 hours for lasting protection. Isomex is an ideal choice for anti-icing or de-icing and has been tried and tested for the last 30 years.

Isomex is an effective liquid de-icer which has been used on airport runways, roads and in facility management for over 30 years
Easy to Handle - Isomex is delivered in a ready to use form with no need to dilute.
Non corrosive - Traditional liquid de-icers contain sodium and chloride which are highly corrosive and damaging to metals, concreate and surrounding infrastructure. In comparison, Isomex is perfectly safe to use in these environments and has consistently achieved the SAE AMS 1435 specification which includes testing by submerging a range a metals and coatings in Isomex for a prolonged period with a pass given when no corrosion or decomposition is observed.
Superior Ice and Frost Control - Isomex rapidly penetrates snowpacks or ice and quickly breaks the bond between the ice and the surface, allowing for easy removal and any residual product that remains on the surface will inhibit further ice formation.
Environmental Impact – Isomex has a very low Biological Oxygen Demand (BOD) and Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) which are critical measures of water pollution. The potassium content within the product also provides a high absorbable source of the nutrient for grass and plants which strengthens root systems and improves drought/stress response.

Directions for use
For best result spray before a frost is forecast. If ice has formed use the rates for de-icing below. Remove as much snow as possible by brushing and ploughing before application.

PPE
Ensure the correct Personal Protective Equipment is used when handling the product. Gloves must be worn for decanting into applicator and when applying.

Delivery & Returns
Any applicable delivery charges will be calculated at checkout. Certain products qualify for next working day delivery if ordered before 1pm, excluding bank holidays and the festive season. Please be aware that deliveries to remote areas, including the Highlands and Cornwall, may take longer. Additional charges apply for non-mainland locations — please contact the office for further details, or you can learn more about our delivery options here.
A signature is required upon delivery. If no one is available, you can leave a signed note for the driver requesting the parcel be left in a secure location without a signature. However, please be aware that this is done at your own risk and is subject to the driver's discretion.
For large orders, please be aware that if you require a smaller 7.5 tonne lorry, the maximum weight for pallets is 750kg - otherwise the standard pallet size limit of 1000kg applies.
Please note:
- For deliveries that require a pallet, the pallet/packaging itself is the customer's responsibility and will not be uplifted or taken upon delivery.
- Deliveries are kerb side only.
- It is possible a pallet order can be delivered on a vehicle up to the size of a 26T lorry.
