Compo Expert High-N Paddock Fertiliser 24-5-5 is a professional equestrian paddock fertiliser designed for horse paddocks, pony paddocks, grazing pasture, and turnout fields requiring rapid summer grass growth and strong pasture recovery.
Utilising premium Blaukorn® N-Max technology, this high-nitrogen granular paddock fertiliser delivers fast grass establishment, deeper green colour, stronger root development, along with improved grazing performance across equestrian pasture and managed grassland.

How to use
- Apply evenly avoiding overlapping or missing areas using a suitably calibrated spreader at a rate of:
- Grazed Grass 10-20g/m2
- Hay Production Up to 40g/m2
- Weather: For best results apply before forecast rain. If no rain falls during the 24 hours after application, irrigate the treated area thoroughly
- Watering in helps granules breakdown and move nutrients directly to the root zone
- Do not apply in frosty weather or in severely hot or dry conditions
- Nutrients Released: Over 4 - 6 Weeks
- Grazing Safely: Whilst non-toxic, horses and livestock must be kept off land until granules have fully dissolved and are no longer visible. This typically takes 24-48 hours, depending on rainfall

Delivery & Returns
Any applicable delivery charges will be calculated at checkout. Certain products qualify for next working day delivery if ordered before 1pm, excluding bank holidays and the festive season. Please be aware that deliveries to remote areas, including the Highlands and Cornwall, may take longer. Additional charges apply for non-mainland locations — please contact the office for further details, or you can learn more about our delivery options here.
A signature is required upon delivery. If no one is available, you can leave a signed note for the driver requesting the parcel be left in a secure location without a signature. However, please be aware that this is done at your own risk and is subject to the driver's discretion.
For large orders, please be aware that if you require a smaller 7.5 tonne lorry, the maximum weight for pallets is 750kg - otherwise the standard pallet size limit of 1000kg applies.
Please note:
- For deliveries that require a pallet, the pallet/packaging itself is the customer's responsibility and will not be uplifted or taken upon delivery.
- Deliveries are kerb side only.
- It is possible a pallet order can be delivered on a vehicle up to the size of a 26T lorry.
