Lupo is a selective weed killer spray which helps control and manage perennial weeds in grassland, and paddocks. With two active substances, 2,4-D and MCPA, Lupo controls an exceptionally broad range of range of annual and perennial weeds in established grassland. In particular, Lupo provides excellent control of thistles, buttercups and ragwort.
Lupo can be tank mixed with herbicides containing other active substances to increase the number of weed species that are targeted. A recommended tank mix for excellent control of thistles, docks and nettles is:
- Lupo at 2.5l/ha + Gal-Gone at 1.25l/ha
Application Information
Where to apply Lupo
This herbicide is ideal for use on newly sown grass leys and established grassland such as horse and pony paddocks for the control of annual and perennial broad-leaved weeds.
When to apply Lupo
Lupo can be applied throughout the growing season, from March onwards. Annual weeds will be most effectively controlled if they are sprayed when the majority of weeds are seedlings. Perennial weeds should be sprayed when they are reached maximum growth.
