Oceanos Tree Shelters protect young trees while contributing to ocean conservation.
Crafted from "Oceanomer" - an innovative recycled plastic material composed of a minimum of 50% ocean-bound and post-consumer waste - these tree guards offer superior sustainability alongside top tier performance. These tree shelters create an enhanced microclimate, encouraging growth, and aiding strong root and stem growth.
Oceanos offers all the benefits of a conventional tree shelter, whilst contributing to cleaner oceans and waterways.
Designed to last a minimum of 5 years, Oceanos Tree Shelters protect young trees from browsing animals and herbicide sprays, provide optimal growth conditions, and significantly increase survival rates - all while helping to clean up the environment and reduce pollution in oceans and waterways.

Material Specification

Protective Equipment
- Eye Protection: Recommended during installation due to risk of tree top shoots entering the eye.
- Skin Protection: Protective Gloves recommended during installation to reduce risk of cuts on figures during large installations.
Installation
Oceanos Tree Shelters are easy to install, and contribute to preserving our oceans and waterways. Nested in sets of 5 for compact storage and transport, the tree shelters also come with pre-fitted cable ties for quick installation.
After planting and hammering the stake in, tree shelters can easily slide over of top of the plant - ensure the cable ties go over the stake at the same time. The shelter should also be pushed 1-2cm into the ground to deter vermin from burrowing under the shelter.

Delivery & Returns
Any applicable delivery charges will be calculated at checkout. Certain products qualify for next working day delivery if ordered before 1pm, excluding bank holidays and the festive season. Please be aware that deliveries to remote areas, including the Highlands and Cornwall, may take longer. Additional charges apply for non-mainland locations — please contact the office for further details, or you can learn more about our delivery options here.
A signature is required upon delivery. If no one is available, you can leave a signed note for the driver requesting the parcel be left in a secure location without a signature. However, please be aware that this is done at your own risk and is subject to the driver's discretion.
For large orders, please be aware that if you require a smaller 7.5 tonne lorry, the maximum weight for pallets is 750kg - otherwise the standard pallet size limit of 1000kg applies.
Please note:
- For deliveries that require a pallet, the pallet/packaging itself is the customer's responsibility and will not be uplifted or taken upon delivery.
- Deliveries are kerb side only.
- It is possible a pallet order can be delivered on a vehicle up to the size of a 26T lorry.
