Overtake is a systemic selective herbicide that can be used to control a range of broadleaved weeds in managed amenity turf and amenity grassland. It is suitable for use on sports pitches, grass areas in parks and playing fields and on fine turf areas such as ornamental lawns.

Overtake contains two active substances which work in different ways to ensure that weeds are targeted on multiple fronts. This increases herbicidal effectiveness as well as reducing the risk of resistance to the active substances building up.

Overtake is perfect for maintaining high quality, weed free turf surfaces. It can be used at a rate of 2l/ha from spring until the early autumn.

Target species

Broadleaved annual and perennial weeds including:

  • Daisy
  • Dandelion
  • White clover

  • Amenity grassland: Areas of semi-natural or planted grassland subject to minimal management, e.g. airfield, railway embankments and roadside verges.

Overtake can be used from March-October and is most effective when used to control young, actively growing weeds. Newly sown turf should be allowed to become established before treating with Overtake.
