Huwa-San TR-3 - Trigger Spray

Huwa-San TR-3 is a ready to use, multipurpose trigger spray disinfectant, containing 3% silver stabilised hydrogen peroxide, conforming to British (BS) and European (EN) regulatory standards for efficacy against viruses, bacteria and fungi, across a range of hard surfaces.

A ready to use trigger spray disinfectant with a two year shelf life, suitable for use at work and in the home for the cleansing of hard surfaces such as; door handles, push plates, hand rails, sports equipment, tools, steering wheels and vehicle controls, office furniture, office equipment and work surfaces.

Huwa-San TR-3 is an aqueous solution of 3% hydrogen peroxide (H₂O₂) uniquely stabilised with ionic silver chemistry. Hydrogen peroxide is a transparent colourless and odourless disinfectant liquid which post disinfection quickly degrades into water and oxygen once used. The unique ionic silver stabilisation technology in Huwa-San TR-3 increases the stability of the hydrogen peroxide solution without the undesirable residual effects from other potential stabilising agents such as acids.

This stabilising Huwa-San PEROXIDE technology is an integral component in making Huwa-San TR-3 an extremely powerful non-residual disinfectant.

With a contact time of five minutes Huwa-San is proven to kill 99.999% of all known bacteria at 3% H₂O₂ concentration.

Conformity

Conforms to British (BS) and European (EN) regulatory standards for efficacy against viruses, bacteria and fungi, across a range of hard surfaces.

At a 3% active H₂O₂ concentration Huwa-San achieves greater than Log₅ (99.999%) efficacy within 5 minutes, conforming to:

• Bactericidal activity (BS EN 1276 and 13697)
• Fungicidal activity (BS EN 1650)

At a 3% active H₂O₂ concentration Huwa-San achieves greater than Log₄ (99.99%) efficacy within 60 minutes, conforming to:

• Encapsulated viruses (BS EN 14476)

A systematic review published in the Journal of Hospital Infection demonstrated that a (H₂O₂) concentration of 0.5% achieved a Log₄ (99.99%) inactivation of human coronavirus HCoV-229E within 1 minute¹.

Huwa-San Multi-Purpose TR-3 is a no rinse formulation suitable for use prior to the processing of organic approved products under EU 83412007 and EU 889/2008.

Approved by the Health and Safety Executive as a constant dose biocide for the control of Legionella featuring in HSE guidance documents HSG274 & HSG282.

Usage Guidance

First thoroughly clean all surfaces with detergent to remove residual dirt and remove excess water. Spray surfaces with undiluted Huwa-San TR-3 and ensure they remain moist for the working time of five minutes, before then drying with a clean cloth. Rinsing is only necessary if the surfaces come into contact with food.
