Amenity Land Solutions (ALS) are pleased to announce the appointment of Stuart Yarwood as Technical Sales Area Manager for Cheshire and North Wales. Stu has over 25 years' greenkeeping experience, 17 of which as a Course Manager.
Stu began his career by completing his HND in Golf Course Management at Reaseheath College, and from there worked in Golf Course Construction for two years before moving into his first role in greenkeeping as Deputy Course Manager at Delamere Forest Golf Club.
For the last 16 years he has worked at Lymm Golf Club as Course Manager. During this time Stu specialised in traditional and sustainable turf management, and in 2010 achieved his Master Greenkeeper Certificate. Stu was also recently presented with the R&A Gold Scholar Award, one of only seven people in the world to be presented with this accolade.
With a wealth of industry experience, knowledge and passion, Stu can offer advice and support to help make informed decisions and provide your surface with exactly what it needs.
When asked why Stu wanted to join the company, he commented: "I wanted to join a company where I am encouraged to share my knowledge and help others in delivering best practice, something that I am very passionate about and enjoy doing."
