Customers in Devon and Cornwall, and the Northern Home Counties have two new dedicated Technical Regional Sales Advisors servicing their territories; David Bevan and Martyn Parrish.
The recruitment of these highly experienced and qualified turf managers has strengthened the ALS field team to ten Technical Regional Sales Advisors, and both David and Martyn are embracing the opportunity to impart their knowledge and bring solutions to sports and amenity facilities.
David Bevan (South West England)
David has over 30 years of greenkeeping experience, including 12 years as a Course Manager. He studied at Moulton and Warwickshire College during his early greenkeeping years, and completed a HNC in Golf Course and Sports Turf Management. Since then, David has continued to develop his skills and knowledge, having worked on various championship courses both in the UK and mainland Europe.
David: "Joining ALS as the Technical Sales Manager for the South West was my natural career progression within the industry. With a huge portfolio of products on offer and sound advice, I am able to help customers achieve the results they desire."
Martyn Parrish (Northern Home Counties)
Martyn has over 20 years of experience in the turf care industry, having worked on a number of top UK golf courses and on a private estate. He began his career by completing an internship through the Ohio State University, based at the award-winning Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course, Cimarron Hills Country Club. Martyn has continued his professional development by completing a Foundation Degree in Sports Turf Science at Myerscough College.
Martyn: "It is a great opportunity to work with a forward thinking and progressive company, offering support and solutions to a diverse range of clients. I'm able to use the experience I've gained in my career to help people achieve their aims and requirements."
ALS Sales and Marketing Director, Dan Hughes commented; "Both David and Martyn have joined ALS with a wealth of relevant experience and knowledge. In an industry facing significant regulatory pressures and changes, solid, trusted agronomic advice is crucial. The skills of both additions are benefiting ALS's scope and ability to service customers throughout the UK."
