Rotodrainer

There is simply no other 'instant fix' for poorly drained sports turf that gives so much and costs relatively so little.

• The 20mm wide drainage channels are far wider than existing alternatives.  These will take 2mm-4mm aggregate or kiln dried sand and are wide enough to maintain their drainage performance much longer and give greater flow.
• Inserts approximately 60 tons of aggregate per pitch or 120 tons of sand per pitch depending on depth.
• The drainage channels can be cut up to 250mm or 10” deep, deeper than alternatives, but 6” to 8” is quite adequate, especially if working across between parallel field drains at 5m centres.
• The drainage channels are at 10” /250mm centres to give fantastic clearance of surface water and eliminate puddles.
• The alternative sand banding ‘mole plough’ method compacts the soil on each side and can raise ridges.   The EarthQuake decompacts and displaces the ground with no ridging, compaction or smearing.
• The drainage medium (Aggregate or sand) is fed into the ground by a sub-surface shrouded feeder that keeps the sides open as the material is fed in.  This allows the channels to be fully filled from the bottom up to the surface.  Other systems drop sand or gravel from the surface down, much of which bridges in the gap or is prevented from dropping down fully by soil collapsing back into the void.
• Leaves a clean, undamaged surface with drainage medium in the slits and just below the surface. Play can continue immediately.
